WEEK 1 - It all begins

WOW!!!!!! ONE OF THE FIRST TIMES I HAVE BEEN LOST FOR WORDS

Okay it is Week 1 already and I have only just got to sit down and try and get my head around this course.

These last few days have been such an eye opener for me from the very first day I arrived at Bldg 1 - Day 1 of Orientation. I felt so overwhelmed, out of my depth and just like I was a little Polly Pocket in this big new world. I felt so privledged to be here but at the same time wondered to myself, "What have I done?" I have been taking one step at a time, one day at a time, I have to stick at this, it has been my dream since I can remember.

I think I feel a little isolated due to the fact that there are only 6 of us students who are on Strand B. We have had a meeting with a few lecturers at uni and I think they have convinced me to hang in there, its' all doable, just one step at a time they say.

These women are such an inspiration, they have really made me feel at ease, I don't know how many times the uni has told us, there are people here to help you, who want to help you and want you to succeed, I don't think I have ever felt this welcome, they really know their stuff.

One specific lecturere really inspires me, just to watch them through a lecture totally amazes me, so good in front of such a big audience, I hope I have the confidence and knowledge once I finish my degree to be able to competently do this.

These Blogs, Readers, Delicious and Wiki's are all so new to me. I actually thought that I was a little bit savy on a computer, I do Facebook, but wow don't I have alot of learning to do. One word comes to mind MOODLE!!!!
